Tux The Fetching Cat

My girlfriend and I rescued a little kitten mid-winter who was found in the gutter during one of our cold, snowy days here in New York.  She is the cutest little thing.  We call her Tux.  Upon meeting our newest adoptee, we could tell she was special.  She had an independent personality, yet a soft spot for love.  Although the affection was to be given on her terms, and her terms only!

Tux has grown to be quite the spectacular feline.  She is extremely vocal.  Opinionated.  Some might say downright moody.  But in that precious, cat kind of way.

She sleeps in the most unusually adorable positions.

I mean seriously…can you get any cuter?

Because we live in New York, without a yard, we decided to figure out a way to get Tux outside, so she can enjoy the fresh air, birds, and the beauty of central park.  So we take her out in her little cat buggy.

But the coolest thing she does by far is she fetches….yes fetches, like a dog.  Maybe it is because she has rescue dog siblings….or maybe it’s just cause she is gifted.  Tux started out finding fun in fetching tinfoil balls.  But now she is more interested in fetching plastic utensils.  Have a look for yourself…

Maybe I am just a proud parent of my four-legged feline.  But I happen to think Tux is quite special.
