What Happens When Two Sober, Vegan, Lesbians Head To England…

Jane and I took a trip to London, and some great surrounding areas of England, and captured our vegan tour on video. We hunted down vegan/vegetarian restaurants everywhere we went to give you a quick taste/visual of each spot we found.  Check out our adventures below.

Our first stop was the amazing Vantra Vitao, in London, near Covent Garden and Soho. The ambiance was delightfully bohemian, the staff charming and the food imaginative and delicious. This sweet restaurant is located at 25-27 Oxford St., should you ever want to visit.

Winchester is the historic home of the famed Winchester Cathedral and legendary King Arthur’s Court & Knights of the Roundtable. A magical place, filled with history, it is – alas – not chock full of vegan options. YET WE FOUND SOME! Yay! That’s the adventure of veganism! WATCH!

About 100 miles outside London, Bath is extraordinarily beautiful and historic! It also just happens to be a vegan mecca. Check out some of what we found by watching the video. If ever in Bath, England, you MUST eat at ACORN for dinner.  The food is mouth-watering.

JANE AND DONNA’S VEGAN ENGLAND TOUR: Return’s to London! We leave the major landmarks and go to the premiere hipster region of Shoreditch, near the very cool Brick Lane. Shoreditch’s wonderful @BOXPARK has a fabulous vegan restaurant called #‎COOKDAILY – Check out this adventure!

When in London, do as the Londoners do! Now vegans can hang out and dine at a classic London pub, which has gone vegan/vegetarian. Norman’s Coach and Horses at 29 Greek Street in Soho even offers a vegan version of fish and chips, which is absolutely delicious! The fried tofu plays the role of a filet of fish and is wrapped in nori seaweed to give it the flavor of fish. Please remember to go to the correct Coach and Horses as several London pubs bear that name!

There will be more to come once a bit more editing is done…so keep a lookout.  In the meantime, support our efforts to promote a compassionate, vegan lifestyle by joining connectpal.com/jane.  for $2.99/month you will get hilarious behind the scenes footage of Jane and I trying to change the world.  You will also get access to podcasts called, “Defining Moments” which profiles vegan leaders as they share with us what their defining moments were, and what led them on their path of compassion.  Here is a quick intro telling more about it.
